Megan O'Connor, LM, LMT, IBCLC, PMH-C

Megan is a midwife, massage therapist, and lactation consultant. Prior to studying midwifery, she was involved for many years in the women’s reproductive self-help movement. This work included peer education on topics related to anatomy and physiology; fertility awareness; and complementary or alternative health approaches to women’s health. She has been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2003 with a focus on bodywork that supports wellness during the childbearing years and beyond. Since obtaining her midwifery license in 2014, she has been honored to support birthing people through pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum, both in hospital and at home. Her work in home birth allowed her to find ways to meld her two loves, bodywork and midwifery. In this space, her hands have found an extra level of purpose in supporting parents through  pregnancy and into babies' first months of life.
