-Prenatal Massage

-Bodywork for any stage of pregnancy. Techniques may include Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Lymph Drainage, and Myofascial work according to client preference and needs. Typical discomforts of pregnancy such as low back, hip, and pelvic pain, swelling, and carpal tunnel-type pain can be addressed.

-Postpartum Massage

-Bodywork for the postpartum adjustment period. Issues are quite varied during this time so the session is tailored to the individual. A variety of techniques are employed to meet the needs of this special and intense stage of life. In addition to musculoskeletal discomfort, care is available for issues such as engorgement, "plugged ducts", tailbone pain, and caesarean delivery recovery.

-Bodywork for Hips, Low back, and Pelvis

-Bodywork specific to lumbopelvic health, whether difficulties arise from muscles or internal organs. Lymphatic drainage, gentle visceral work, scar release, and standard massage techniques can all be employed as needed to address pain and discomfort. 

-Breast or Chest Work

-Therapeutic massage for any complaints involving the chest or breast tissues. Deep or light touch approaches may be used to address problems related to surgery, binding, cycles, or infant feeding. Work can performed bare or draped depending on whatever feels most comfortable.

-New Baby

-Baby bodywork aims to help release restrictions acquired during the last weeks before birth or during the birth experience. The work is rooted in craniosacral and myofascial unwinding techniques, so the touch is light, the work is gentle, and nothing is forced. Intraoral work available for babies with feeding challenges, regardless of feeding method.

The fee for New Baby massage or pre-crawling baby intraoral work is $60 for 30 minutes in the office. Home visits available for pre-crawling babies. Rates vary depending on distance and whether lactation/infant feeding support is wanted as well.

-Swedish or Therapeutic Massage (available in office only)

Whether the goal is to address the impacts of stress; relieve pain; or restore function, various approaches are combined according to client preferences and objectives. Appropriate for a very wide range of chronic conditions, as well as certain acute or post-surgical problems.
